Singapore - The Singapore Art Museum (SAM) is proud to present TransportASIAN, its first photography exhibition featuring Southeast Asian-based artists.   The composite term, TransportASIAN captures travel in time and space within Asia.   The works not only document the history of transportation in Asia, they are also interpretations and metaphorical explorations on the theme of travels.   TransportASIAN showcases works by 15 artists from Singapore, Myanmar, Vietnam and Thailand in the way their photographic works relate to Time, Space, Action and Fiction. On exhibition through 11th of August, 2009. The exhibition is held in conjunction with the Singapore Arts Festival and the Month of Photography.
