    artwork: REYKJAVIK.-The Reykjavik Art Museum presents Making of an Artist - A selection from the Erro Collection. After graduating from art school Gudmundur Gudmundsson a.k.a. Ferro - later shortened to Erro held his first solo exhibition in the Listamannaskali in 1957. In the exhibition that opened in Hafnarhús there are various works by Erro before and after that point, images he made while growing up in Kirkjubaejarklaustur, during a course he took as a teenager at Reykjavik Arts and Crafts School, and also from a later date when he was full-time student at the school, in addition to works from his student years in the Academy in Oslo, Florence and Ravenna. All the works in this exhibition are owned by the Erro Collection an interesting insight into a talented and industrious young man who from early childhood set his mind on becoming an artist.
