HONG KONG - We have the pleasure of inviting you to the opening reception of a solo exhibition featuring the latest works by Professor Zhang Jie, Vice President of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, China. Exhibition Opening:Thursday 6^th November 2008, 6.30pm to 8.30pm. On exhibition through November 19th, 2008 at Karin Weber Gallery.

His latest works on oil sometimes present the viewer with a bird’s-eye-view of nature, other times we are looking at the very top of a snowy mountain.  At the next moment, we find ourselves in front of a terraced rice field.  Comment from the chief curator of Risor Art Museum in Norway, Inger Ken appropriately sums up the experience "I am most surprised by the great level of energy and expressiveness depicted by the works. It contains an unexplainable gigantic force of nature."

The vastly experienced artist has shown in lots of cities in China, Taiwan, South Korea, France Germany, Norway, Canada and America.  He frequently conducts academic seminars and his works have been published in numerous art magazines. His works are in museums, government, corporate and private collections.
