Bangkok, Thailand - Thavibu Gallery is pleased to present the art exhibition FLESH by the Thai artist Thaweesak Srithongdee.

Thaweesak Srithongdee is a keen observer of people, their traits and physical and mental characters. Using his imagination, he goes on to ponder whether people’s looks are related to their behavior, culture, social standing and other aspects.  The result is a series of pop-erotic paintings where his works are filled with symbols and show his interpretations of and feelings towards human beings.  As viewers react differently to various symbols, he expects people to see his works in a variety of ways using different interpretations.

Thaweesak Srithongdee is an established artist. He is 35 years old with several exhibitions in Thailand behind him, and he has also exhibited in Europe and Asian countries.  He recently took part in a residency at the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum in Japan.
