Susan Woltz Gallery to host Gordon Gagliano

Gordon Gagliano - ' Inner Courtyard ' - 20” x 20” - Oil on canvas Courtesy Susan Woltz Gallery, Seattle

Seattle, WA - The featured artist for Susan Woltz Gallery’s June Artwalk is painter/architect Gordon Gagliano.  An Italian-American, Gordon’s work is inspired by his annual travels to Italy with his writer wife, Ursula Hegi.

As an architect, Gordon is fascinated with the dynamic interplay between planes and perpendiculars of buildings and the textures in the stucco facades.  He captures the essence of the Italian village and the Mediterranean palette in paintings of Vernazza and other villages along the rugged coast of Liguria.

>Gordon has exhibited in Sag Harbor, East Hampton and Bridgehampton, New York as well as in Manhattan, San Diego and the Oregon Coast Arts Center.

Please join us in welcoming the artist and his wife Ursula on June 5, from 5:00 – 8:00 at 307 Occidental Ave. S. in Pioneer Square.
