The works in the exhibition include paintings by Richard Wilson and Thomas Luny, watercolors by Francis Towne and FJ Widgery and engravings of works by JMW Turner.  They depict a variety of castles from various regions of the British Isles, including the South West, Wales, Yorkshire, and Scotland, through picturesque, sublime and topographical techniques.
