The Spencer Mattress Factory Collaborative

Brooklyn, NY - P.I.T. (Projects in Transit) is pleased to announce The Spencer Mattress Factory Collaborative, the first ever group show of this cutting edge artists collaborative in Brooklyn, New York.

Curated by Elwyn Palmerton, The Spencer Mattress Factory presents contemporary works by the individual emerging artists residing in the 144 Spencer Street building in Bedford-Stuyvesant.  Works will include painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media, among others. 

Also on view at P.I.T. will be works by collaborators, Holly Faurot & Sarah H. Paulson.  As part of the SONYA Studio Stroll, these artists will be showcasing photographs, stills, videos, costumes, and drawings documenting their collaborative performances from the last three years.
