Portland, OR - The Guestroom Gallery, Woolley at Wonder and the Wonder Ballroom have announced they are co-hosting a fine art exhibition curated and coordinated by Rachel Sanders Fine Art and Design Inc. The exhibition will run through September 16th. "There is an enormous amount of creative talent within the motorcycle culture and I'm excited to provide an outlet for this expression in Portland. I have been extremely impressed with the overall response to this exhibition, and I feel anyone having an appreciation for art, motorcycles, and music will be inspired to by this exhibition," said Rachel.
Rachel is an interior designer and painter who has a penchant for motorcycles. She races her Ducati 748 as a novice at the Portland International Raceway. Her passion for fine art and motorcycles began with her father, also an artist, while riding on the back of his motorcycle. The Influence of Motorcycles on Contemporary Art provides a perfect milieu for her lifelong interests; art, design, people, performance and motorcycles, and music.
The fine Art exhibit will be on display in Guestroom Gallery and Woolley at Wonder, marking the first time the conjoined galleries have exhibited together. The motorcycle design and build will be presented by four motorcycle designers, including Michael Czysz and his "C1," the new American Superbike, and Paul Gaudio and the new Norton Commando. After the Design and Build, local film artists including "Lines" will present their motorcycle Film.
