Boston, MA - This show features all new work from the past two years by Michael Mazur.  Primarily known for his lush landscapes (early on - realist and for the past 10 years or so - more abstracted with a distinct influence from the traditional depiction of space in Chinese landscape), the artist has created a new body of work that utilizes his decades of mastery of color, form and space but in a new and unfamiliar way.

Working with stencils and spray paint, along with the brush, the artist has been able to let go of earlier imagery, yet keep the power and captivating qualities of his work.  The exhibit focuses on Mazur's working process and shows the relationships between collages, small and large paintings. Exhibition ends 7 June.
