    Bangkok, Thailand - This series of Pigs Can’t Fly in Plimsolls by BRETT is on a permanent display at La Lanta Fine Art.  On view March-April, 2008.
     

    The series features 12 round-bellied pigs with wings standing with confidence in training shoes branded Plimsolls.  Each pig imprints tiny paintings of global art movement throughout the history including Picasso-ish, Pop-ish, Dubuffet-ish, Fernand Leger-ish and etc.
     
    BRETT’s art making is not about reinventing the wheel.  He mixes together the very well known, super exposed artwork with the ordinary, trivial figure and articles such as pig and boots. The result is contradictory and that makes his art communicates. Brett won prize at the “Not the Turner Prize” Competition, Mall Gallery, London in 2004.   Started the anatomical stained glass pieces
