Alhambra, CA - Edwin Ushiro enlightens us with new work from his series reviving childhood stories. Influenced by ghost stories and the unexplainable, Ushiro takes us to a place where these memories become a fantasy and ultimately part of the viewing experience. He believes that these stories and tales make the world a more interesting place to live in. As Ushiro focuses on telling stories in his work, his childhood found its way into the art. Ushiro’s work creates a challenging experience as he strives to reopen those unexplainable moments. On exhibition June 2 2007 – June 23, 2007 at Gallery Nucleus.
