1. Cheekwood Museum of Art selects Guest Curators for 'Music City Picks'

    Nashville, TN - Cheekwood Museum of Art is pleased to announce the list of guest curators for Music City Picks: Choices from Cheekwood’s Collection which opened July 7. Over six months ago Cheekwood invited well-known Nashville residents in the world of sports, politics, entertainment, and more to browse through Cheekwood’s permanent art collection and choose their favorite work of art. Each guest curator has written a personal statement about their choice, some will be presented in audio. On exhibition through September 16, 2007.

Gallery tours with Cheekwood’s curator of Art, Jochen Wierich, will take place on July 21, August 11 and September 8. All tours will begin at 11:00 am in the Museum of Art.
