Bangkok, Thailand - Chainapa Lepajarn, one of the leading Thai female sculptors, exhibits small sized artwork selected from her newest creation in the “UNEVEN LIFE” collection. The exhibition will be on display from Feb. 3 until Feb. 28 at La Lanta Fine Art. This exhibition shares the utmost intimate feelings of the artist who shoulders, and over the years, is drenched with the grief side of life. “I wanted to make the work from the feelings that I had at the particular moment – creating it with my mind and soul. I shredded all the worries when I worked. All along, that has always been the story of my life.” In “UNEVEN LIFE,” Chainapa continues to drive home the value and power of women. To her, women’s dignity comes from endurance, intellect, tenacity as well as wisdom to create own opportunity with integrity. “The work was created from a mixture of emotions – pressured, aggressive, relaxed, confused, hectic, and calm. All derived from the feelings of loss, detached, fatigue, being cheated and insulted. However despair it might sound, I always wanted to transform my feelings into the language of forms in sculpture.”
