London - Art Below Ltd The Art Agency who use Ad Space in the London Tube to exhibit the work of emerging artists will be sponsoring an exhibition by artist Fari Shams.

Fari Shams’ exhibition ‘above your head’ will be held at London’s most central exhibition space the Air Gallery in Dover St, W1 from the 28th October to 3rd November. This body of work will feature the latest findings in Shams’ journey of experimentation with the relationship between music and maths, this time inspired by her latest visit to Florence, where she decided to incorporate the architecture she was so struck by above her head. Shams considers the orientation of the architecture that is not directly in the visual field and needs to be seen by looking up.

Art Below, who featured Shams work in June 2007, will once again be giving the public an interesting alternative to the onslaught of advertising we are otherwise faced with in the tube. Her latest exhibition ‘above your head’ will be displayed at major stations across the W1 area and aims to express the work of an artist whose approach is new and different in a way that is new and different. This will be coupled with an exposé on Shams’ work by new literary magazine Litro, Original Fiction for the Underground. LITRO is a literary alternative to Metro (the free newspaper) and is distributed for free every other Friday near to London Underground stations and elsewhere around the world.
